Ten Minute Post

Ten minutes before I have to go work.

I figured since I will be writing under pressure all next month for Nanowrimo I would try a quick post here in the same fashion.

I am at the Blackdog Cafe, its in lowertown not far from where I work. This building is where many artist's live and its where I plan to write on Sundays in November. Why, well its funky, its full of interesting people who might propel my imagination and parking is free on Sundays. Oh and next door is a Zen Center, I might have to check it out.

Today was my last day in the country. I woke up early and looked outside, it was 22 degrees out there and a thin layer of ice had formed on the pond outback. There was a fresh layer of frost on the grass and a wonderful quietness permeated my whole being. With a cup tea warming my hands I lingered there by the window, breathing it all in.
