Frenetic

As I looked down at my watch this morning I found myself sighing. It is the date, August 14th, three weeks perhaps maybe a forth and outdoor swimming will again be a cherished memory to think about as Ice forms on the rivers and lakes again.

Seasons. I embrace them all, sometimes holding on tight to one while looking forward to the next.

My weekend was frenetic with activity. It was a Family campout with my brother and two sisters on Lake Wissota (Chippewa Falls, WI), filled to the brim with activities. This morning I have many things that I need to do before I jet off to work at four, much of which I have been putting off so I better get right down to it and write me a list lest I forget something.

First one highlight of the weekend, jumping off an old bridge (Abandoned) that our parents used to drop us off at to go swimming (and for them I suppose to have some quiet). Yeah us for having the nerve to jump again! The nephews thought we were nuts but one nephew gathered up his nerve and gave it a go!

I love all the seasons also, but my favorite in MN is spring. I love the new green, the trees coming alive, the ice melting off the lakes, and the ducks returning from the south.

Farmer Chris!!

I wondered where you went!!! I checked your link earlier this summer and you had vanished. Glad to see you posted on my blog so I can start reading again.

Love the pic of Taza in the canoe! Such a wonderful summer shot. Ah, yes, the nights and mornings are already much cooler. Even though winter is inevitable, why does is cause me to sigh each year at the thought of it?

Take care and glad to know you are still around!

Oh yes, just the thought of it does make me want to sigh too, Sigh.

It is great to be united again.
