An Earlier Time

Although this picture was taken this morning, it could of easily have come straight from my childhood memories of growing up on an island. My favorite place to be alone and quiet was on the small stretch of driveway to one of my friends, it went straight through a marsh. Life abundant, turtles, dragonflies, ducks, frogs and fish, they were all there for me to listen too and interact with on a personal level.

Being there, in the water, camera in hand, at a moment of connection.
